This is my most favorite smoothie of all time. It really does taste like a milkshake, and kids will easily go for this one!
I started off with a version that had no zucchini, but then since I’m eating this almost every day, I wanted to see if I could hide another veggie and....happy to report, it worked.
Try this, your life will be better because of it :
- 1 frozen small zucchini (skin on is fine, it adds nutrition and color), OPTIONAL
- 1.5 - 2 frozen banana
- 2 large handfuls of spinach
- 1/2 can coconut milk (full-fat is best)
- 1 c coconut water
- 2 drops food grade peppermint oil or extract
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- small handful of choc chips or nibs
- 1 c water
- 1/2 c ice
Add more water and ice as needed.
